Decal Panamá, S.A. is part of the Decal Group, founded in Italy in 1961 by Pietro Triboldi. The first terminal began operations in 1966 in Puerto Marghera, Venice, Italy. The company started its international expansion in the 1990s, establishing storage terminals in Spain, Brazil, Russia, and Panama. In 1998, Decal Panamá was incorporated as a corporation and began operations in January 2003.
Located on Taboguilla Island, Panama, Decal Panamá specializes in the storage and supply of petroleum-derived products, primarily for ships transiting the Panama Canal. Initially, the terminal had a capacity of 175,000 m³, which has since been expanded to 356,500 m³ (2.2 million barrels) thanks to facility and service upgrades.
Decal Panamá offers reception, storage, segregation, blending, and fuel loading services for the bunkering industry. The terminal operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring a continuous and efficient supply to its customers.
The company operates under the laws of the Panama's Republicand is controlled as a subsidiary of Decal Spain. With a total storage capacity exceeding 2 million cubic meters, distributed across seven terminals in five countries, Decal Panamá stands as a leader in the marine fuel storage market.
